THIS IS MY FAVORITE STORY TO SHARE! I met Grace on the curb outside of our college town bars at 1 am on a friends birthday, and after getting to know each other she told me she would be inquiring soon as she thought her boyfriend was going to propose! Fast forward to a few months later, I see an email from her in my inbox and my heart did cartwheels. I had almost completely forgotten about our interaction, and out of nowhere I hear from them about flying me out to their city for an engagement session! Talk about a crazy client meet-cute haha.
I made the trip in mid-August, accompanied by my sister so I didn't have to navigate the big apple alone. We spent practically all morning walking around New York together, from Juilliard, to Central Park, to the MET, and a few rides on the metro there and back! These two were the best tour guides AND the best to shoot with; they rolled with all my crazy ideas, pointed out every cool spot (my favorite was the bridge from Spiderman 3 haha), and showed us around the MET exhibits. There is SO much variety in their photos, which just proves even more that not putting a time limit on a photo session is SO worth it! This truly is one of my favorite galleries to date.
After our session, my sister and I did all the tourist things. We went to see Hadestown on Broadway (it was Eva Noblezada's last weekend!), walked through Times Square, took a boat to the Statue of Liberty, wandered on the Highline, and crossed the Brooklyn Bridge. Seriously one of the coolest work-trips I've ever taken, all thanks to this amazing couple! I can't wait to do their wedding this summer in Wisconsin!
